Methodology
How this guide
is written.
Every page on this site follows the same approach: start from public sources, cross-check with experienced installers, and rewrite in plain language. No supplier supplies the copy, and no supplier reviews it before publication.
In het kort
Vier vuistregels

Writing process
How a page comes together
Checklist
Step by step
- 01Outline the question a reader actually has, in their own words.
- 02Gather public sources, manufacturer data and installer experience on that question.
- 03Draft in plain language — short sentences, no jargon without a definition.
- 04Cross-check against the Dutch building code and council rules where relevant.
- 05Read it back as if you were the homeowner: is the answer clear, is the trade-off honest?
- 06Publish, then revisit when rules, prices or product ranges change.

Conclusie
The point of the method is simple: give readers the same information a careful, experienced friend in the trade would give them — without trying to sell them anything.
