Dormer company checklist

A practical 25-point checklist you can run through with any quote, any sales meeting and any company website.

How to use this

One scan, three uses

This checklist works in three moments: when you read a quote, when you sit down with a salesperson, and when you compare two or three companies side by side. Treat each item as a yes/no question. If you cannot find a clear yes, that is a question to ask in writing.

The list

Quote and specification (1–8)

FAQ

Veelgestelde vragen

01Is one checklist enough to pick a company?
It is a great starting point, but combine it with at least three written quotes and reading the warranty document in full.
02What if a company refuses to answer some of these questions?
That is a signal in itself. A solid company is used to these questions and will answer them in writing.
03Can I use this checklist for any country?
Most items are universal. Planning rules (permit, aesthetics) are specific to the Netherlands here, but the principle of checking those rules locally is the same everywhere.
Conclusie
A checklist is not a substitute for thinking, but it is a great tool for catching the things that are easy to miss in a fast sales meeting. Print this one, take it to your appointments and ask for the answers in writing.
